Quinn was born and raised in Campbell River BC, where he was exposed to various aspects of forestry from a young age. Throughout high school Quinn worked at a local consulting company as an Assistant Engineer from 2019 to 2022, while also spending time timber cruising and performing road building supervision. Quinn was a board member from 2018 – 2021 on the Mid-Island Forests and Lands Advisory Group which was essential for CSA forest certification on TFL 39. During high school he attended the Carihi forestry program 2017 – 2019 and was awarded the Mike McInnes Memorial Forestry award in 2021 along with a bursary from the Truck Loggers Association.After graduating from high school in 2021 Quinn decided to further his education at the University of British Columbia where he is currently heading into his 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Operations with a specialization in Harvest Planning and Engineering with hopes to attain his RPF & P.Eng designations.
Quinn recently started with A&A as a summer student for the 2023 year. He enjoys hiking, fishing, reading FPInnovation/UBC reports as well as keeping up with log markets and current forest policy in BC.
