We are committed to the practice of sustainable forest management and environmental stewardship. To us, sustainable forestry means meeting the needs of the present while ensuring the security and prosperity of future generations. We accomplish this by practicing a land stewardship ethic that recognizes the rights of Indigenous peoples, protects key environmental values, and guarantees all our sites are replanted with healthy growing trees that sequester carbon and may one day become long lived, carbon-friendly products.
Sustainably managed forests provide ecosystem services such as the conservation of soil, air and water quality and quantity, biological diversity, wildlife and aquatic habitats, recreation, culture, traditional gathering and use, and aesthetics.
