Alysha is a Registered Professional Forester with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Conservation Science and Master’s degree in Sustainable Forest Management. In Alysha’s current role as the Forestry Manager at A&A, she is involved in strategic and operational planning, stakeholder, public and Indigenous engagement and managing A&A’s Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) certification and Environmental Management System. Alysha has a long standing and demonstrated passion for forestry and the people who live in and depend on the forest.
Alysha believes that sustainably managed forests provide a range of benefits and is dedicated to balancing environmental, social and economic forest values. This is evident through her work with Indigenous communities, local residents and recreation groups.
Outside of work, Alysha enjoys camping, skiing and gardening.
