Jennifer Bendickson, RPF

Year Started: 2022
Home Office: Campbell River

Jennifer is a Registered Professional Forester who grew up on the BC coast, splitting her time between Hardwicke Island and Campbell River. A fourth-generation member of a respected coastal forestry family, she was immersed in the industry from an early age. Her summers were spent as a labourer, learning the logging contracting business hands-on, before moving on to forest engineering and operational planning.

She was fortunate to spend a year on exchange at the Australian National University, gaining a more diverse perspective on forest management. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry, majoring in Forest Operations.

Following university, Jennifer found her passion in timber appraisals and pricing. Mentored by the best, she has spent more than 20 years developing deep technical knowledge and expertise in timber appraisals, stumpage management, tenure management, and forest management systems.

In 2022, she joined the team at A&A Trading, happy to return to her roots with a business that shares her values and feels like family. She brings a process-based approach, a philosophy of continual improvement, and a focus on relationships.

Jennifer balances a fulfilling career with family life with her husband, two daughters and assorted pets. When she has a spare moment, she enjoys baking, and spending time in the forest, near the ocean, and in her garden.
