Starting his career in the central interior, Kirby brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role as an Operations Manager at A&A. Graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Northern British Columbia, Kirby joined the A&A team in 2012 after many spending years working throughout the coast.  

Kirby is responsible for managing over 310,000 m3 annually between our Nootka Sound Timber enterprise, salvage operations, and A&A tenures on Vancouver Island. In this role he has worked hard to foster and expand meaningful relationships; particularly with our Indigenous clients.  

Kirby is well known in the company for his calm and thoughtful approach to decision making, as well as his realistic attitude and outlook. He is an excellent mentor due to his patience and wealth of knowledge.
