We are looking for someone who wants to influence strategy, build relationships, develop people, and create value across a diverse portfolio of coastal forestry operations. Operating throughout Vancouver Island, the Mainland Coast, the North Coast, and Haida Gwaii, A&A manages its own tenures while working alongside Indigenous and community partners across some of British Columbia’s most unique working forests.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As Operations Manager, you will help lead and direct forestry operations from planning through execution. You will be trusted to:
• Lead safety, environmental, and operational performance initiatives
• Oversee forestry development, harvesting and road construction activitites
• Manage operational budgets and contractor performance
• Work directly with Indigenous partners, government agencies, customers, and service providers
• Develop and mentor forestry professionals
• Support long-term planning and growth initiatives
• Drive operational excellent and continuous improvement
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are likely someone who:
• Has 15+ years of coastal forestry experience
• Has earned the respect of crews, contractors, and peers
• Enjoys mentoring and developing people
• Can balance operational realities witn long-term planning
• Understands both the technical and business sides of forestry
• Wants meaningful responsibiliyt and accountability
• Registration as an RPF or RFT (or eligibility for registration) is required.

Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000+ annually, plus Bonus, RRSP Matching & Comprehensive Benefits Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
