Kyle Dickenson, RPF

Year Started: 2019
Home Office: Campbell River

Kyle is originally from Nanaimo BC. Having spent his years during and after high school working in a veneer plant, he decided to pursue an education in forestry. He graduated from Selkirk College with a diploma in Forest Technology in 2017, while working seasonally for a consultant in the southern interior gaining valuable experience in engineering, silviculture, and timber cruising. In 2018, Kyle returned to coastal BC to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Operations from the University of British Columbia.

Kyle joined the A&A team as a summer student in 2019 – eventually joining full-time following graduation in 2021. Since then Kyle has helped manage our Nootka Sound Timber enterprise, as well as our Forest Licenses on the Sunshine Coast and Northern Vancouver Island. His primary focus today is managing the engineering requirements of our partners in Heiltsuk First Nation.

Kyle is a passionate advocate for the important role that forestry plays in British Columbia, and the value it can bring to Indigenous and rural communities. In his free time Kyle enjoys fishing the many rivers of Vancouver Island, riding his motorcycle, and sampling the best local beer he can find.
